Important Links to the Ballet & Dance World
The dance world is incredibly immense and we at the Academy feel that it is important to share with you some of the "who's who" and keep you aware of the many goings on in the world of dance. We thought we would share various links to dance companies, schools, studios, and other important players in the industry with you, as we firmly believe in supporting all of the realms of dance and those who support it.
This link listing is simply a general reference and doesn't suggest any direct affiliation or partnership, unless otherwise stated of course. Enjoy!

The Royal Academy of Dance
Something for us dance geeks!
Check out the website of Chris E. Chung, MD. He works closely with the Academy to increase safety awareness as it pretains to dance, sports, and preventative medicine in general. He was gracious enough to give the Academy an in-depth lecture about dance safety earlier this year. Here's an article about him as well. The Academy owes a tremendous thanks to Dr. Chung for his time.

Kim Gardner is another great resource for dancers and beyond, as she serves as the Lead Dance Therapist for Dr. Chung's practice and has a respected background all on her own. With an emphasis on injury prevention and dance rehabilitation, her incredibly unique background is an invaluable resource for dancers. We shouldn't fail to mention that she's been a ballet instructor since 1984 and is also Certified Pilates Instructor. Awesome!
